چکیده
Abstract Background The change in subclassification of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) among patients with Crohn’s (CD), ulcerative colitis (UC), and IBD-unclassified (IBD-u) has previously been described subpopulations adult pediatric patients. To date, no large, multinational registries have characteristics who diagnosis. Methods We used the largest (27,628 individual for this study) prospective registry world IBD, ImproveCareNowR (ICN) to characterize those Diagnosis ICN is based on Paris classification. Results 7.52% had any diagnosis; 5.19% experienced a diagnosis after initial 3 visits (Table 1). Those start are more likely change, as compared starting diagnoses or IBD-u (p < 0.05). A majority changes involve (75.8%, Figure Among diagnoses, BMI Z-score less than -2, UC Patients changed were ileocolonic extent, penetrating stricturing phenotype, perianal disease documented Signs miscoding occurred 0.3% Discussion This first reported use large investigate within IBD. Registration appears clinically impactful findings IBD-u. all involved IBD-unclassified. Further investigation across time modeling will supplement our understanding clinical factors predictive change.
